Quick bio of Rob Beams My name is Rob Beams.

I worked for seven years as a project manager at a civil/site design firm in Atlanta before resigning to pursue acting. While a project manager, I was responsible for many projects in the Atlanta area. Our firm focused on light industrial projects such as industrial parks, freight forwarding and distribution facilities, and light manufacturing facilities. In addition to those projects, I also have experience designing and managing several other types commercial and residential developments, such as office buidings, medical laboratory/research facilities, restaurants, and gas stations, and subdivisions. Currently, I consult as a civil engineer although I also enjoy doing small construction and renovation projects, such as building/refurbishing decks, along with other "handyman" jobs.

I started acting in the spring of 1997 and I have steadily been working in the acting industry since. I have performed at several theaters in the metropolitan Atlanta area as well as in Chicago. I have also enjoyed working on many on-camera projects such as television programming, independent films, television commercials and industrials. My agent is Brenda Pauley at The Talent Group.

I own a home in historic Marietta several blocks from the Marietta Square. I enjoy working on my home (it is over 80 years old and needs some TLC, although it is extremely comfortable and everything works!). I also enjoy working on my 1968 Chevelle convertible and an old mahogany ski boat that I recently aquired.

I was born and raised in suburban Washington, D.C. (Bethesda, MD) except for the few years spent in Nebraska during elementary school. I left the metropolitan D.C. area to attend the University of Florida and moved to Atlanta after graduation. I have one sister, Susan, who is the mother of my awesome niece, Avery. Susan is married to Sean and they live in Colorado. My father, Robert (Bob) lives in Maryland with my stepmother, Barbara. My mother, Elizabeth lives in Colorado with my stepfather, Larry.
